Rib Rodeo
The pot

The crowd changes the size of the prize.

Every rider entry fee goes back out as prize money — one hundred percent of it. Sponsors add boosters on top. And a share of every ticket sold goes in as well, which means the size of the crowd sets the size of the prize.

Riders pay a single grounds fee for the weekend. That fee covers the office, the timers, the ground and the officials. It never enters a pot.

What locks, and when

An estimate until entries close.

The pot is final at [time] on [day]. Payout structure, places paid and division splits are published before entries open.

Until that moment the figure is labelled Estimated pot. It is not live, it is not verified, and it is not confirmed — it is a projection, and it is called one.

Rider referral codes

Every entrant gets a code and a link. Tickets bought through it are attributed to that rider, and the rider can see what their own share of the crowd put into the pot.

Codes are issued with entries. Ticketing is not connected yet, so no sale has been attributed to anybody.
